• Understanding the event’s requirements and specifications.
• Discussing with the Event Coordinator about the equipment needed.
• Familiar with all the AV equipment and tools.
• Setting the sound and light equipment (AV & Lighting System)
• Setting up the media equipment such as video monitors, projectors, sound systems, etc.
• To maintain & testing the equipment before all the events.
• Troubleshooting and adjusting the AV equipment and spotting last-minute issues and resolving them quickly.
• Test and troubleshoot audio visual systems to identify and resolve any issues.
• Repairing the equipment as and when required.
• Responsible for ensuring sufficient operating guest supplies and operating equipment for functions assigned.
• Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the work areas, event venue and storage areas.
• Responsible for the proper usage and good working order of all equipment, furniture and fixtures in the Banquet Section in the shift assigned.
• Responsible for consistently implementing the service standards and operating procedures in the banquet service.
• To provide excellent customer service and ensure customer needs are met.
• To liaise with Housekeeping, Maintenance & Facility Management to ensure the above responsible are complete.
• Communicating with the team members in a professional manner.
• Ensuring a smooth transition during the event.
• To conduct regular inventory audits of furniture, AV equipment, kitchen equipment, miscellaneous items, and re-order items when necessary.
• Responsible for monthly inventory, consumption spreadsheet and operation staff labours.

Requirement:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Certificate in Electronics, Electrical, IT, Audio Engineering or Pre-tertiary Education.
• At least 2 years experiences in the related field.
• Good knowledge & experience in handling Sound, Lighting, Video equipment.
• Good knowledge to execute Banquet Event Order (BEO) on event setup
• Able to work independently.
• Able to work on Sunday & Public Holiday.
• High level of physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy equipment.
• Hardworking and willing to learn.
• Salary: RM 3,000 + Allowance (Based on experience).
• Additional Work Allowance after working hours.
