To mainly handle shipping activities for export (sea and air), and coordinate seamlessly with shippers, shipping agents, customs broker, transporters and overseas agents
To plan, establish work schedules, assignments, and logistics sequences to ensure transportation and shipment arrangements are performed in an accurate, timely and cost effective manner
To arrange, prepare and compile shipping documentation required for customers, which include bills of lading and the relevant export paperwork
To route outgoing shipments through shipping line and schedule transportation of shipments
To select freight agents/ forwarders/ transporters in order to ensure cost-effective operations at all times
To liaise with forwarding/ customs agents on shipping matters by complying to the rules and regulations of the Customs Act
To perform any others tasks as and when required
