As an overall Representative the company in Halal Product Development mission, the candidate is required to:

Good understanding in the requirements from both JAKIM and their state representatives (JAIS, JAIP, etc) in registration of new products required by the company
Relate the higher level differences of other international Halal organizations requirement, to quickly adapt to local (vice-versa) requirements and reduce time to market
ESTABLISH new efficient SOPs workflow within the company on Halal product registration and handling
Have understanding in the requirements of other manufacturing standards GMP, HACCP, MESTI, etc to quickly define the requirement in the products
Participate in the company’s mission in the brand development in all aspects not limited to Halal registration of the products (but also testing, planning for national trade fairs, meeting with OEM manufacturers, etc)
Support any other administrative adhoc request as the business grows

The candidate must possess (or currently pursuing):

Bachelor in any Food Science, Agriculture, Manufacturing, Halal or any related field
Independent and can work under least supervision, organized, able to plan and report on timely basis when driving a project
Resourceful, quick learner, willing to speak to new people and adapt to new environment in ease
Able to prioritize multiple task and meet deadlines in a start-up environment
Good communication skills with ability to reason, give ideas and think out of the box plus strong drive to idea execution
Proficient in using Microsoft Office pack
Proficient in Bahasa Melayu and English (Other language is an advantage)
