Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Engineer to join our dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As a Java Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Java-based applications and software solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and develop robust and scalable applications that meet the business requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement Java-based applications and software solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Java programming language
• Perform unit testing and debugging of applications to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Integrate software components and third-party libraries as required
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application functionality or performance
• Collaborate with team members to identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance skills and knowledge
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members as needed
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree/diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Java Engineer or similar role for 3-5 years
• Strong proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks
• Solid understanding of SQL and experience working with Oracle database
• Experience with web application development using Java-based frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate)
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
