RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project Coordination: Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration between our sourcing team and US strategic partner.
  • Strategic Partnership: Strengthen and nurture the strategic partnership with our US-based partner to achieve shared project objectives.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage global sourcing projects, expanding product offerings, and driving business growth.
  • Sourcing Initiatives: Support the development and implementation of global sourcing strategies to secure cost-effective products that align with Category Team objectives.
  • Supplier Engagement: Support team in identifying and onboarding new suppliers while ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Cost Optimization: Contribute to the development and implementation of sourcing tools and practices aimed at identifying and delivering cost reduction opportunities within the supply base.
  • Collaborative Strategy: Collaborate with international counterparts to measure, document, and communicate Year-to-Date results on cost productivity. Participate in defining global sourcing strategies and provide sourcing recommendations.
  • Issue Resolution: Provide support as directed to resolve operational issues related to supplier quality, delivery, and regulatory compliance.

 

REQUIREMENTS & QUOLIFICATIONS:

  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in merchandise, international trade, sourcing, procurement, and/or supply chain management within multinational companies.
  • Medical Devices: A minimum of 3 years of experience in sourcing for medical devices. Knowledge of the medical and healthcare industry is a plus.
  • Language Skills: Exceptional professional English communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Mandarin communication skills, both verbally and in writing, are a plus.
  • Communication and Negotiation: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, along with strong negotiation abilities.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptability: Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Work Ethic: Hardworking, self-motivated, and result oriented.
  • Knowledge: Sound knowledge of quality, logistics, supply chain, and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) processes.
  • Team Player: Collaborative and proactive team player who works efficiently and effectively with others.
  • Leadership: Experience in leadership and management is a valuable asset.
