Join tawk.to, the world’s leading business messaging application, as a UI Designer in our expanding team in Malaysia. We are seeking a talented and experienced individual who can create captivating user experiences.

As a UI Designer, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with product management and engineering teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product’s direction, visuals, and overall user experience.
• Executing all visual design stages, from concept development to final hand-off to engineering.
• Design UI, demonstrated through a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Conceptualizing original ideas that simplify complex design challenges and enhance user friendliness.
• Creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design concepts.
• Presenting and defending designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders.
• Establishing and promoting design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
• Conducting user research and evaluating user feedback to inform design decisions.

Qualified candidates for this role should have:

• Our primary focus is on a strong portfolio and a high regard for creativity, rather than formal qualifications.
• Proficiency in visual design tools such as Figma and prototyping.
• Understanding of a design system and improving it.
• Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to generate innovative design solutions.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• A massive plus is experience in ui animation and motion design. Ability to work with illustrations, landing page design when needed.

A good command of English, both written and spoken.
