Location: Kuching, Sarawak

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Account Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling various accounting duties, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, bank reconciliation, and general ledger maintenance. The ideal candidate should be familiar with Autocount software and able to handle full sets of accounts.



  • Handling the day-to-day accounting tasks including managing accounts payable and receivable, issuing invoices, making payments and receipts.
  • Handle general ledger maintenance and journal entries and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions,
  • Reconciling bank statements, accounts payable and receivable, and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Preparing and maintaining financial records including ledgers, invoices, receipts, and vouchers and to ensure accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Preparing financial statements and reports using Autocount software and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Assisting in the management of the payroll system and ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Coordinating with external auditors to ensure timely completion of annual audits Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Provide support for audits and Preparing tax returns tax filings ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Management.



  • Diploma in accounting, finance or related field. However, those with at least accounting certificate with similar experiences are welcome to apply.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Able to handle full sets of accounts.
  • Familiarity with AUTOCOUNT accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
