Job purpose
To perform sales related activities, that include and are not limited:-
- Engaging in cold calls, face to face meetings, telephone calls, email blast, social media management and any other communications method for the purposes of closing sales for the organisation
- Organising and attending sales meetings for the purpose of establishing new business or maintaining existing customer business
- Preparation of consulting and training proposals to clients
- Discussion and clarification of proposals and quotations to clients.
- Closing sales with clients.
- Recording and updating details of sales contacts and discussions in a proper and orderly manner
- Preparation of logistical supplies and equipment for training and consulting
Duties and responsibilities
- Meeting potential or existing customers to generate new business opportunities or continuing projects
- Engage potential or existing customers via email blasts, social media communication and any other marketing/communications method
- Meet daily or weekly targets, as mutually agreed with the supervisor
- Enter and update customer information in the customer relationship management (CRM) database
- Maintain records of sales calls, and note useful information related to sales calls.
- Any other duties and tasks assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Fluency in other dialects and languages desirable
- Self-motivated and results-driven attitude
- Able to handle rejection
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
