Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will oversee kitchen operations, preparing high-quality dishes, and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Director in menu planning and recipe development.
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Maintain inventory and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment.
- Monitor food presentation and quality to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Assist in managing kitchen operations, including cleaning and organization.
Qualifications
- Culinary diplome, degree or equivalent experience in a professional kitchen.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a cafe or restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Passion for food and creativity in the kitchen.
