Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will oversee kitchen operations, preparing high-quality dishes, and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our customers.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director in menu planning and recipe development.
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Maintain inventory and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment.
  • Monitor food presentation and quality to ensure consistency and excellence.
  • Assist in managing kitchen operations, including cleaning and organization.

 

Qualifications

  • Culinary diplome, degree or equivalent experience in a professional kitchen.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a cafe or restaurant setting.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Passion for food and creativity in the kitchen.
