CY Global Shipping Sdn Bhd is a fast-growing logistics and maritime company based in Malaysia. We specialize in container shipping, vessel chartering, and the sale and purchase of vessels and boats. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Executive to join our dynamic team.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, management reports, and budget forecasts.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoice verification, payments, and collections.
- Prepare bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow, and assist in treasury functions.
- Support in auditing processes, including preparation of audit schedules and liaising with auditors.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation for all transactions.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including SST, withholding tax, and income tax filing.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of statutory filings and reports (e.g., LHDN, SSM, EPF, SOCSO, etc.).
- Support the finance team in any ad-hoc tasks, analysis, or administrative duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting. Fresh graduates with strong internship experience are also encouraged to apply.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel is a MUST. If proficient in accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, or similar) is a plus point.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of shipping or logistics industry is an added advantage, but not required.
