Conduct thorough visual and functional inspections on returned machines and spare parts to assess condition and usability.
Assist in the refurbishment and restoration of machines and spare parts to a functional and acceptable condition.
Ensure all refurbished parts and machines are securely packed for storage or shipment, preventing any potential damage during transportation of storage.
Maintain accurate records of all used copier machines and spare parts, tracking their condition, refurbishment progress, and final status.
Provide support in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to copier machines withdrawn to the warehouse.
Work closely with warehouse staff to identify machine malfunctions and ensure repairs are completed on time and to specification.
Assist in performing quality checks on refurbished machines and parts to ensure they meet established company standards and functional requirements.
Assist in preparing necessary quality control documentation and reports, including detailed records of inspections, tests, and corrections made.
Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure safe handling of copier machines, parts, and tools.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Min. diploma or equivalent.
Additional certification in quality assurance is an added advantage.
Previous experience in a QA support role or in the copier industry is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of copier and printer hardware and components.
Ability to handle machinery and tools used in the copier industry, including basic troubleshooting and maintenance.
Ability to report quality issues effectively to supervisor and management and collaborate with other departments.
Good communication skills for both written and spoken
Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
